Biography
Anslom is Papua New Guinea’s cultural ambassador and international reggae export. A reggae outfit with roots, island, and contemporary fusion elements with a list of album and single releases to his name which are available online. Anslom has toured three continents and stands as the biggest reggae artist to emerge from Papua New Guinea.
Since launching his professional career in 2000, Anslom has performed in clubs, bars, corporate events, and large venues and stadiums. He draws inspiration from reggae legends such as Bob Marley & The Wailers, Peter Tosh, Don Carlos, Toots and the Maytals, Inner Circle, Big Mountain, Chaka Demus & Pliers, Lucky Dube, and many more.
Anslom has been prominently featured on television, radio, newspapers, magazines, periodicals and social media in the US, Australia, India, Canada, England, Germany, South Africa, the Caribbean’s, Fiji, Solomon Islands, Vanuatu, and Papua New Guinea and has won numerous awards in Papua New Guinea and internationally.
Anslom has the support of the Government of the Independent State of Papua New Guinea and has a mission to promote his country while spreading messages of love, peace, and unity through reggae music.
